My AIG Mistake

Recently I split a larger policy between two ex's. One was to pay for their half and the ex would pay for the other half (2 policies total). I thought I was one smart puppy... a win-win solution.

I used AIG... guess what...

You can only write one on a client every 12 months... made me look like a ***. Had to go back and write the second one with another company.

I did not know that. Makes no sense as long as you stay within limits.

Another no go with them is Insured has to be owner, forever. A good deal of my business is a secondary owner.
