My non captive agency is making me choose between them and another company.

There's your answer. He doesn't want you using his stuff if you're not committed to him. He for sure doesn't want you using his copier for AFLAC business.
That's the thing though. I keep both jobs separate. When I'm at the office I don't partake in any Aflac business. Basically when I'm not running any apps is when I conduct Aflac business. Never bring it into my office

Its hard to have much of an opinion about this without knowing private information about how much money you are making from both directions here.

My gut feelingon this is that if you are not being paid a base or significant renewals - than....

However if you are making really good money from the agency, it might be an easy decision to turn off Aflac. But how much are you making from Aflac?

What does your employment contract say? Does the agency have a competitor to Aflac that they offer?
Are you on their computer selling Aflac?
I'm new to both companies, been with both for about 4 weeks

My employer contract does not state anything about being affiliated with another business.

No. I don't conduct any Aflac business while at my agency's office

I mean, ultimately they can demand whatever they want, and you can choose to stay or leave.
I'm choosing to leave. I just think it's pretty unprofessional to give an employee that kind of ultimatum. I'm new to this industry and didn't know whether or not a non captive agency could do that.

Oh, you are a W2 employee? Huh, I thought you were independent 1099. Yes, then that sounds like a totally reasonable demand to me. I'm surprised as a W2 employee you thought that was acceptable to start with.
