My Website is Up!

I really like the design and layout however I'm just not a huge fan of the dull color scheme especially for life insurance. But that's just my 2 cents otherwise i really like your layout. you may also consider adding a blog.

What are you hoping to accomplish with your site?

You say it is "integrated" with your DM. In what way?

I say this every time. All the rotating banners are colorful, but there's not one REAL Person's picture or even name anywhere on the site. Why not?

Who is your target market?

The domain name leads you to believe that it is a site for seniors, but when you visit the first thing you see are pictures of young families....i think there will be a lot of disconnect and people bouncing off site quickly.

Just that I send out direct mailers every month that will now have 3 ways to respond. Reply card, phone number or website that they can visit. I only send cards to turning 65 year olds.

I have very limited experience at web design and zero with the SEO aspect of it so being able to spend an extra $0.10 per mail piece is definitely worth being able to get a website up and running with SEO, IMO.
I know it might take a while but I'm hoping I can get a few extra sales per month.

I can and will add info about myself and a pic. Thank you

Target market will be T65's. 2 out of the 4 pics on the main page show seniors on it, I think it'll be ok.

I'm a bit curious as to what you're calling "SEO". For an extra $0.10 per piece I think they made you a decent site (although based on the numbers we were talking before it sounds like you probably paid a fair chunk for it). That said, SEO is typically broken down into two groups, onsite and offsite. It's a good looking site, but there doesn't seem to be much about it that is going to generate traffic from search engines.

The numbers we were talking before were with me and 3 guys I work with. I only send out 2500 cards per month and I don't need to purchase a list anymore.

I am pretty clueless in regards to anything about SEO.
I didn't pay for the site though, just the domain name. As long as I send out a monthly mailer (like I have been doing for the past 2 years) but now at .50/per piece instead of .40/per I get the website and they said search engine optimization. They said it would take a while but they will do certain things to get the site ranking up.

Two suggestions since you are targeting seniors.

White background behind text.

Larger font than 10 pt

Larger font is definitely a good idea, thanks!
