Chicken liver is actually my favorite catfish bait, it sucks trying to keep it on the hook though. Bluegill cut in half works good too.

STI, looks like you nailed post #1000 on this thread. Congratulations! That is a nice string of fish. Are those all channels? Did you catch those from a lake?

Goods baits for catfish are shad guts, skip jacks either whole or cut up, and stuff like small bluegill. However, my all time favorite catfish bait is creek chubs.
