Newbies Being Recruited by Colonial Life??

That is absolutely awful and tragic. Just goes to show being a newbie myself, I feel you have a duty to do as much homework as possible before getting involved with the wrong company or agency. It is very very difficult to know what your getting yourself into until your in it, unfortunately.

This video shows that only Kansas and Missouri are having this problem. I've learned that there is 3 sides to every story, in this case, consumers, the insurance company, and then the truth. So between the both it is hard to tell. But I can't be closed minded because of this problem. Besides, I havn't seen an insurance company yet that doesn't have a complaint by a customer or an agent. So it is what it is.

Nobody posts anything positive about any of the insurance companies in the U.S. only negative.

With that attitude you should do well at Bankers. Keep the blinders on.

I just got appointed by Bankers Life and Casualty Company which I will be representing Colonial Life as well, for they are owned by Conesco. As far as I see, is that it is a pretty good company to work for. I was suppose to work for Liberty National, but the hiring manager quit Liberty and is switching to Bankers and brought me aboard. Luckily for me, I've came across agents who keep their word. I've just finished all the basic training for Bankers, and I will see what lies for me on Monday. I am very excited about working for Bankers. So far what I've seen at the office, there was one agent who hadn't made a sale in a few days, so one of the office managers sat beside her walked her through a couple of phone calls until she landed an appointment, this showed me that they will not let you fail. Not just for them, but for you as well. This really surprised me. And it made me feel confident about the company that I'm about to represent to the public.

I know you are brand new but you might want to be more accurate. This thread has been about Colonial a supplemental benefits company which is not owned by Conseco you are thinking of Colonial Penn two totally different companies and product lines.
