Newspaper Ad... What Say Ye.

Scored several sales off of it. Hard to say if it was "that" ad or the others. We ran ads for six weeks and rotated/changed them weekly. I do recall one h/w couple that called saying "We're on BCBS... what can you do for us?" and they came in with "that" ad.

Out of that campaign we probably got a 500-600% ROI.

It didn't work worth a damn. Not that I was there I just know selling insurance is a little trickier then just running a good ad in the paper! If running those ads in the paper worked then your paper would be full of those kinds of ads and we all know your paper is not full of insurance ads!

Thanks Gordon for the response...

He said he received a 500 to 600% return of investment and if you believe that Robliano and Jody have some wonderful programs they can sell you that will make you even more rich. A 500% to 600% return of investment now wouldnt Warren Buffet love to get a piece of that action.

I'm not saying these are his exact numbers...but, if he paid $200 a week for the ad and it ran for 6 weeks and he got a 500% return, that's about $6,000.

Just figuring MoO and about $350 commission per med-supp, that's about 17 med-supps. That seems doable.

Why don't you just come right out and say what you mean, call him a bald face liar.....

Isn't 500% of $200 only $1,000?

5 X 200= $1,000 when I was in school.

It was very doable. The ads are usually a 4x5 or 5x6 ran on the obit page :)... for $55-80/week. Runs in two papers.

I've done this long enough that I do very little that doesn't triple or at a min. double my money. Even when I'm prospecting I "assume" that cost is $120/day even though the actual activities may not be costing me that much.

I'm telling ya guys.. put Yanker on ignore. Best move you can make. The only time I see his childish negativity is when some of you quote his ignorance. Believe me... you won't miss any nuggets of wisdom by not seeing his post... that ought to be implied.
