Not a Bad FE Day.

AM I GOING TO HAVE TO STEP BACK IN HERE ON THIS SUBJECT AGAIN...?

j/k :1laugh: I think the old 1st Sgt [was one for 3 yrs way back in 73'] crept back into me when posting to you on this subject yesterday rousemark... my apologies for going over the top on ya.... Take off as much time as you wish sir. It sounds like you've got it all going on for you, just about right.

No apologies due 1st Sgt. Did get out and do a little work today.. Just not in the insurance field. Could stand weather like we are having until spring comes.

You can make a living selling coverage for the Big C.
In the mid 70s I was an RVP (the title and 27 cents would buy you a cup of coffee) with Underwriters International. Sold cancer plans underwritten by Life Investors and there a lot of agents making 100K per year with them. Many of them were working the Payroll market but others were selling individuals. A friend of mine would go from town to town going through the business district talking with bsiness owners. He didn't do payroll but wrote individual cases on the owners. His favorite saying was, "one in the morning and one in the afternoon" he worked 9 - 5, 5 days per week and averaged a little over 10 apps per week for many years.

if a person would do that today, maintain a minimum of 80% persistency, they would make 150K in first year commission plus renewals.. I would say that would qualify as making a living selling coverage for the bid C.:1smile:
