Not a Bad FE Day.

Are the premiums expensive? Is it a term up to a certain age? Do premiums increase?

I don't think it is expensive. Plans are Guaranteed Renewable for life. premiums do not increase with age or health changes but, like all guaranteed renewable health plans, you can have an across the board rate increase. No one can be singled out for a rate increase.

Here is a CUL Brochure and the agent guide with the rates. Since I am normally supplementing other coverage, I usually write plan A. In my case even though I wasn't hospitalized and didn't have surgery a Plan A would have paid me $18,900.

AGLA CANCER RATES AND BROCHURE

AGLA has better rates at younger ages, higher room coverage, first occurrence but less Chemo. Also has Disability Income on top plans. No composite rating for payroll.

Assurity & MOO have cancer plans. How does AGLA and Central United compare?

I see Central issues up to age 69. That's a plus.

Decided it was so nice outside, I would make a few calls today. Made 14 cold door knocks.. managed to have a sit down interwiew with 2.. Sold one.. 10K, $47 month... Stopped at a Mom and Pop store for a sandwich.. Wrote them a $36.00 per month Cancer plan.. (I know. Some of you don't believe in these plans but I do.) But, the best part of the day was when I stopped to see a carnival glass collector I have know for several years to show him a piece I bought at auction last week ($25.00) .. Sold it to him for $475.00.. Days like this are so few and far between, I might just take off the rest of the month!:biggrin::biggrin:

If I could take the rest of the month off I would be a VERY happy person! :)

From what I saw of Assurity, it was only available through worksite and not strong in benefits. Haven't see MoO other than the one they keep sending me in the mail. Low premium, very low benefits.. But that might just be for over 65 folks. About the only time we find ourselves in competition is with AFLAC and we compare very well. They do mostly worksite around here so the little one and two person shops seldom have coverage.
