Only one downside to that thread....The creator of the survey where is he now?

Do you think that has more to do with his survey or his drive and ambition? I personally wouldn't do a survey, but for those with the tenacity to do it week in/week out, it seemed viable. Am I wrong?

I'm way to lazy to door knock, I'll buy my leads.

I know that way may work very well for some, but as a consumer I could not stand it. That's why I look for things that didn't piss me off when they were done to me. I would much rather someone was direct and to the point.

"Direct and to the point" gets you more door closes. Not everyone is a 'driver' personality. Most people would rather talk to others, if they could be made to feel comfortable.

You can structure your questions in any way that you want. Turn a feature/benefit into a question.

Take it from the former Mormon missionary who went door-to-door in Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky back from 1999-2001. One could assume that "everyone in the Bible Belt already has religion", right?

We called it "building relationships of trust". You ask questions, and you sincerely listen to the other person. Some people are receptive, and others are not. Those that are, great! Those that aren't... "No problem. Have a good day. Next!"

Did it work? Let's just say that if I were to secularize my performance... I was a top producer. :)

BTW, if you don't have a strategy to transition from door-to-door to becoming referral based... you'll grow tired of this method of prospecting. You need to know that there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Moon already gave you a script, josh with list shack has scripts that work. I'm not sure what the problem is. Follow a script and call like crazy. When you find someone interested call back next day and set appt or set it right then. You should get 1 lead and hour (approx)
