Notebook? Briefcase?

I looked at hundreds of them the most expensive one I saw was $3,000. :swoon:

I'm guessing that he never got robbed.
No, never got robbed (at least never while I was working there). Honestly, despite the nickname, he was a very congenial and kind man who would go out of his way to help someone. His clients loved him so much that if anybody were to give him any trouble they'd have a significant portion of the population of Norfolk gunnin' for 'em! (Besides, He had those Tommie guns!)

Oh, BTW, really nice briefcase!

I used to carry a big computer bag, but it felt a bit clunky for me. I like to approach the door not looking like every other salesman that stops by. Personally, I like to take my Ipad with a pdf of the lead on the screen, and nothing else. If I need a folder or brochure after I have made the sale, I will go back out to my car and grab the item for the client. Most companies using EApp make this process a lot easier.

Honestly, I think it's a matter of confidence. Do what puts you in the best state of mind approaching the door.

If you want to stand out and not look Ike every other salesman that stops by, you need to go back to carrying a clunky briefcase or computer bag. Seems like today everyone wants to avoid the "moving in" look and just carries an i-pad or small folder..

I'm sure that's the way things are going. I just like to feel good when I'm knocking on the door. As a former athlete I get very superstitious. I switch things up often. If I have a good day, I won't even change my underwear! If I have a bad day, I switch everything up! I'm sure there's some mental illness involved so take that as you will...

Always roll with my kenneth cole reaction black bag, and 99% of what i'll need comes with me into the house. Old paramedic habbit and sometimes in Philly you parked blocks from the house.
