75 YO husband is covered on what seems like Medicaid from New York. The ID card reads: HealthFirst.

Anyone from New York know if this is a Medicaid participating health plan?

Age 50 wife applying for ACA, HH qualifies by income, joint tax return. Waiting for her to be verified thru Equifax, new green card coming, may not be in system. 1st time with this situation.

Health first is one of the participating carriers for medicaid.

They still need their benefit card for prescriptions. (At least if i remember correctly)

He's visiting family offshore for a little while longer, but in touch by phone with wife. If he's going to life outside NY, in same state as wife, he'll need to apply with Social Services for benefits, I assume.

For now, I haven't heard from the advocate who translated on the phone call. They needed to contact Experian to try to verify her identity, the app was stopped there.
