If they don't no one will be on a private plan.

You are kidding yourself if you believe health insurance is going to be viable for agents once all the reforms start taking place. Costs are going to spiral out of control and soon people won't be able to afford it, subsidy or no. Also, I think you seriously underestimate the pressures that people will face to enroll online through the exchange, and not through an agent.

I see you mention that group is important to your business. As I understand it, group hasn't changed much yet, correct?

That is debatable. However, complaining about your compensation is not going to change anything. Health agents complaining about their comp is the same as airline pilots striking. No one cares, everyone things you get paid too much as it is.

You'll get a lot more traction talking about how the changes are going to damage the system, cause taxes to rise, benefits reduce, wait times to increase, etc.

Undercurrent word is that commission levels will be tied to production levels. The more you or your agency produce, the higher your comp level will be.
