Just left a Humana meeting. Nothing definitive on commissions other than to say they will be lower. They did indicate different commission levels based on production.

Rolling out new medical plans in GA in a couple of weeks. Also starting to push ancillary products (CI, cancer, HIP, etc.). Over the next few years they expect to have 20+ ancillary products.

My guess is they assume many will get a large subsidy at least enough to allow for the sale of ancillaries....Question will policies in the exchange be able to add riders? And are the carriers rolling out ancillary products to be purchased via exchange without agent?

I agree with you, that is what they are assuming.
I just don't think that will be the case,, as with increase in cost, plus the minimum out of pocket requirements in the new Law, I just don't see a big need, or want for all of these ancillary products . People will have a hard enough time just paying for the "Obama approved" Heath Insurance Plan.
