I had also heard tonight that Eric Holder (AG Nominee) and his law firm represent 17 Yemenese (?) terrorists. He is also the guy that brokered the clemency deal for the FALN terrorists under Bill Clinton as he was leaving office. SCARY that this dude is probably going to be the AG!

Whether or not you agree with the Clintons on Elian Gonzalez is not the point here. I myself am mixed on the subject but how they did it is what I have a problem with. Eric Holder stating that they did not take Elian at gunpoint (which they indeed did ) and stating that the agents went in with 'sensitivity' is just flat wrong. I guess kicking in the door, ransacking the house and taking the kid at gunpoint is being pretty sensitive. The picture shows exactly what happened. I guess maybe that was a toy gun pointing at Elian? No. Holders judgment is seriously flawed and his law firm is currently defending 17 terrorists. This guy is very soft on terrorism. We certainly do not need that in this day and age. He is dangerous.I agree with the Clinton administrations actions on Elian Gonzalez.

Just as Reno seriously overreacted in Waco and everyone ended up dead, Holden's serious lack of judgment will cause something similar to happen, but on a much larger scale.
His "softness" will invite some crisis that he will be forced to overreact on just to prove to the American public that he is not soft. That is exactly what Janet did and I consider her the worst AG in the history of this country.

I agree with just about everything you said except for the part that Holder will over react. I think if anything he has drastically under reacted to things already. Wanting to close the prison at Gitmo and try these enemy combatants on US soil in a civil court shows me that he doesn't take the situation seriously. This is the exact same mentality that brought on 9/11. People like to blame it on Bush but the reality is that after 8 years of Clintons policies, AlQueda got bold.
Bombing of the WTC in 1993 with no action taken by the Clinton Admin.
Bombing of the USS Cole in the port in Yemen in 1999. Again , no response from the Clinton Admin. There was lip service gven that "We will not rest until justice is served" but that turned out to be empty words.
Madeline Albright as Secretary of State sent into the middle east to represent the Mighty US. Well, given the fact that the US did not respond to several major attacks by ALQueda, and we know how the middle east views women, why wouldn't the terrorists get bold? The US has no will to fight them and they send a diplomat that the middle east would never respect in any form simply due to her gender, it is a recipe for disaster.
Again, you combine Holders apathy for terrorists, his law firm defending terrorists, and Obamas plans for our national defense, the only conclusion you can draw is that it is indeed a recipe for disaster.
