I still do not get it Pad...you are willing to pay the government more even though they have the fiscal sense of my 6 year old son...wait...my son understands that if you have $10, you cannot but something that is $15, so he is smarter then the government.

I'm too lazy to explain it.

I am not trying to say our government is worthless, but when it comes to spending money, they do not understand the concept of budgets. They think China is their unlimited funding partner, or they just shoot out more money.

If you send the government $1 to help someone that is truly less fortunate, how much of that $1 would be eaten up by bureaucratic red tape, if it even makes it past a pork bill?

I am all for helping the less fortunate, but I do it through the private charities and church, not the government.

Well, I got my conceal carry permit ahead of time, cause i didn't know if they would be around after jan. haha.

as far as helping the working class by taxing the beejeesus out of business owners....that will come back and hurt the working class even more with layoffs and downsizing, and outsourcing.

I have several friends who are business owners, and are already planning on what workers to cut to make up for the taxes they will be paying...its a simple questionare to send out....who did you vote for? any Obama voters, are top of the list for the first rounds of layoffs... haha.

really, I don't see a huge change, but there will be continued job losses. another 435,000 new ones last week, and about the same the week before. Thats rather staggering.

What direction are property taxes going where you live?

Where do you suppose taxes at the federal level will be going?

Why is it that people who do not own property get to vote and decide on the amount of property tax I pay? Why is it that people who have little or no income tax liability get to decide through who they elect how much income tax I have to pay?

The system is basically flawed and will just get worse as people who contribute nothing realize they can vote subsidies for themselves. Eventually this will collapse as it always does.
