Inviting physicians to work for less than minimum wage (treating Medicaid patients) so that politicians can crow about millions of uninsured Americans now having access to healthcare, is ridiculous.

I'm sure some agency and/or group is tracking the number of medical blunders and wrongful deaths in this country. Soon the incoming data stream will start showing an upward trend in these areas. Eventually, it will be realized that ObamaCare actually made the USA's Quality of Health quotient DECREASE.

BTW..can a Medicaid patient/family sue their doctor or hospital for Malpractice, or do they waive these rights upon enrollment in the program?

The AMA (about 25% of total US docs) supported Obamacare but support from the medical community was far from universal.

Of course the docs were lied to, just like the carriers and the public. They were all Guberized.

Of course they can.

Absent "Good Samaritan" laws that prohibit suits, a doc that stops on the street to administer aid when you are bleeding can be sued. Just because you pay little or nothing for your care does not prohibit you from suing.

Thanks for this info. I wrongfully assumed that they signed away their rights to sue the doctor when they gave Uncle Sam control of their healthcare.
