"Of course he can't give an explanation because it isn't possible."
No I think I gave you an explanation, you might have skipped over it.
"And somehow this makes a person a hypocrite in Gilmore's eyes because they are going to collect social security"
No, I just don't take libertarians seriously cause all they do is B itch. They hate living here, find nothing positive with living here. Yet here they are.
Yet, they use all the services available to them but do so with "disgust"
And I answered your fund your own retirement question as well. Cheers.

Look what I find funny about some of you here is you complain about everything.
I choose not to live my life that way. I just lost half my foot last month. Could have been much worse, could have killed me. I guess I should complain that they couldn't save that part of me. Would that make me a libertarian then?
NOPE, just glad I am still here, I will walk again and I am glad I have full insurance coverage and disability plans as well. You guys complain about life too much for me.
Life in America is as good as you want to make it for yourself. This is why some of you make me smile. What do they call it "1st world problems?"
I'm not complaining. I'm simply asking you how one goes about not participating if they don't agree with it? You were the one who suggested that Rick not participate. How is saying you'd prefer a different option complaining?
You posted about not agreeing with the wars that have been fought. Does that mean you are complaining? So you can disagree with something, but nobody else can? Or is it only complaining if you have a differing opinion? The whole "you guys" thing is just too broad, but that's par for the course from you as it happened a lot on the religion and politics forum.
The other thing that is typical is the sad story about the person buying cat food. We hear it every time conservatives talk about making changes to social security. It's a scare tactic and meant to paint anyone who would want to make changes as a heartless person. Right out of the Alinsky playbook. Does it mean it doesn't happen? Of course not. But it is the exception and not the rule.
With that said, I truly am sorry about your foot. What was the reason you lost half of your foot? Accident, sickness?
