Online FE Leads!

I never said I couldnt afford it, IN-FACT I said it wasn't a problem....what Im not willing to do is get ripped off for $100, there's a huge difference!!

Not when it comes to lead vendors. The only way to find out is to try and hope you don't get ripped off.

Most lead vendors suck and will suck you dry. If you can't or won't pay the price to find out, steer clear.

I'd tell them to give you 10 free leads with NO deposit. If you like them you will give the deposit and start ordering leads. If you don't like them then neither one of you will have to hassle with the refund. If he doesn't go along with that then the leads were probably not worth it. Take the 100, add a couple more and do a mailing with Monumental or ILIAA.

search, mfancher, hometown, and josh, he is that little jumping guy. You have a better chance uses these guys. By using the search function you will see what others say about them. I have not heard anything bad said about any of them.

Take it from someone that used to work at a bank, you can always use a bank debit card, and if anything fraudulent happens, cancel the card and order a new one. There are laws in place that make it really easy to get your money back in your account if their is anything fraudulent.

Is it just me, or do others in the FE market find it hard to believe u can find good, quality leads online for our demographic?? Our demo ISN'T online, so how are they filling out forms saying they want to meet with an agent? I contacted a few lead Co. awhile back just to get a sense of what other leads were available & now Im being contacted by several others.

One (and I cant say Im not tempted) offered the 1st 10 leads free & I could stop it after that....but Im still leary and others here have posted a bunch of negative things about them. Another said the 1st payment had to be mailed by M.O or Cash Chk & after that could be paid by CC. I laughed, I know that trick....u cant dispute the charge if its not on a CC, and they know ppl will want their $$ back.

So, Im asking....does anyone know anyone who can get consistent quality FE leads online?? Mailers & Tele leads can work, but seniors arent online for the most part asking for insurance quotes....am I wrong??

I would take the advice previously offered. Try them out. If you get sales, decide from there if you want to continue. The only exception I would offer is: don't work with a company that forces you to give them anything but a CC # up front. If thats what they require, look elsewhere.

A few weeks ago you mentioned that you were starting with EFES and therefore I wanted to ask how that is going for you. Have you hit the field/ sold???

Arlene

I just hit the field last week, with some aged leads (EFES calls them-excess leads) & this week Im still working some of them & some new (aged) leads I bought too. I decided not to get fresh leads to start, but get more leads & pay less. I believe biz can be had from some of these, although u work harder, and I get to make my mistakes without it costing me $20+ a lead. I have an appt in 1hr & I have 3-4 others I will drive by today.

I will keep u informed....have u started??

Just an observation from someone that has seen a lot of guys come and go. You sound like a life agent that has a good work ethic. Independent, captive or semi captive a person that is willing to listen, get out there and do it will succeed. I would say good luck but sounds like you are making your own luck.
