Online FE Leads!

I ain't talking about "my" FE market. I'm talking about THE FE market.

Now, for people that dablle in FE those leads would be fine and I'm sure there is business there. You are not going to do $2500 to $4000 ap every week in FE from leads like that. If you could agents would be doing it.

Except that there are agents producing this type of AP weekly in FE over the phone via either solicited phone or internet leads. The predictable lead source is the weak link at this point, but just like 'your business'... it is all about having the LEADS... whether phone solicitation, internet or DM.

Most agents aren't willing to spend the money weekly on the number of leads that it might take to write substantial AP in FE over the phone, but it is doable. And I ain't talkin bout your FE mkt with the description above either, jdeasy.

If they are they are spending over $75000 per year on leads and they are talking to the same people that replay to mailers because that is the FE market.

I have seen many, many agents come and go in the FE market. In almost every case the ones that went were the ones that never could grasp the nuances of the FE market.

I am one that does understand it. I am am one that does work it and I am one that is successful in that market. Yet, you want to argue with me about it and try to tell me that there is a whole different market out there. Well, there isn't.

Now, there are marketers that will tell you what you are saying is correct. Those same marketers are not actually producing any business themselves.

I'm not trying to recruit you, so I don't really care if you don't want to see the light.

Oh but there are a lot elderly folks that are in want and in need of life ins, (more than a 5K or 10K policy) and they aren't likely the ones that are mailing in a $ 255 soc sec card. These folks are being reached via another means than your DM campaign, so maybe there is a whole nother mkt out there... but it is ok with me if you don't wish to acknowledge that it exists... So whether I am arguing with you or not is debatable, but I think I am entitled to my opinion... You aren't trying to deny me of that, are you jd...?

Now that is funny and I don't care who you are... I would take the above statement to mean that only your way is the light...? There are more ways to get from point A to B than one... and for those that don't acknowledge that fact, may well stand in the darkness... deeply in the darkness.

I just hit the field last week, with some aged leads (EFES calls them-excess leads) & this week Im still working some of them & some new (aged) leads I bought too. I decided not to get fresh leads to start, but get more leads & pay less. I believe biz can be had from some of these, although u work harder, and I get to make my mistakes without it costing me $20+ a lead. I have an appt in 1hr & I have 3-4 others I will drive by today.

TD, what is the cost for the aged leads over there? I'm curious what a good start-up cost bank would be when I jump ship over the you guys. My "aged leads" are ollllld. I door knock a card today from 2008. The person that answered told me, "Donna? I ain't seen a Donna here, unless she's invisible. I been here 4 years." Terrible.

You know...

Everytime someone posts any sort of a question about leads, products, carriers, contracts, etc anywhere on this forum..someone just happens to swoop in and have a solution...as long as you're willing to contract under them or purchase something from them.

My limited experience with contracting under people is this:
If you are going to offer agents contracts and heave them under your hierarchy, i think it would behoove you to have some sort of clue about the clients, the laws, the product, and basically be a source of information....OR I will go to your pre-set appointments and sell them a product that i'm already familiar with (and contracted under someone else with) and you will get a big fat ZERO on the over-ride.

Aged leads at EFES depends on how old they are & if they were assigned to an agent before or not....so its hard to answer that. The leads I used were from 90days to 1yr old, not 4yrs old, LoL.

How much start up depends on your lead system, too vague for me to answer, sorry!
