I hate it. It takes up too much of my time and it's just a PIA. If you do a husband and wife it's 30 minutes just for the call and I don't have that kind of time.

I hate it with all companies. That's one of the good things about Americo and Monumental, not having a madatory POS.

When I have plenty of time I do the POS just to get it over with. It's a great option to not have to do it. 5 Star is the same way. You can do the POS or not.

That should satisfy the ones that like to do them and the ones that don't.

You don't have to do the RNA one either. If you want to, fine! Why do you care if I don't?

I don't mind it because I feel that I'm in more control and like getting it out of the way. I get scared when a client does it later with like Monu and then something else comes up. I feel like the interviewer is baiting them somehow during the interview.

The thing I don't like about the RNA phi is they ask for all the meds and the reason. I thought they pull RX list anyway so why are they asking? That really takes up some time.

The first one I did, the woman happen to be taking Vagi-something so it was a bit embarrassing.

No agent should be running FE appointments without 5-Star. They are the easiest company to work with in the industry. Excellent product.

Wouldn't go that far, in saying they are the easiest...their new business department has it's fair share of issues, and seem incompetent most of the time...Good company, cut they don't seem to excited to get new business pushed thru. The 4 people in new business seem to be in La-La Land most of the time

I would agree with this. They are completely disorganized, the last case I sent them took so long with so many mistakes (which they never communicated with me) that I ended up losing the sale.

I know what you mean...They email you with an automated email when EMSI completes the MIB and Rx check. My client was approved, and I called 2 weeks later asking them where the policy was...they said, he isn't approved...I had to FWD. the approval email to them, and it still took them 5 days to verify that I did not create a fake email with this information...There is no sense of urgency on their part, and if you lose a sale, they just shrug their shoulders

They do take a little longer than RNA, but 5-star is fast becoming my go to company. No Rx check, no need to write down their 30 meds on the app and explain it on the PHI. Oh, and I hate doing PHIs lol. And I would say 30-40% of the people around here only have debit cards, no checks so that's huge too. They seem to have better smoker rates than RNA and I can't stand dealing with Americo.

I would say they take alot longer than RNA...almost 2-3 weeks if you don't do PHI at point of sale...

There is no RX check. They issue a little slow if you don't do the phone interview but very fast if you do the phone interview.

I don't have any issues with them. Just make sure the app is clean.

That is amazing they don't do an RX check. I am not sure how long that is going to last. What other company out there doesn't do an RX check other then GI?

It could be just a matter of time they change that.

5Star has some of the worst smoker rates I've seen. Americo, SNL & Monumental would be my smoker choices in that order. RNA is OK for say young women smokers.

30-40% of your ppl are on debit cards, wow... I only run into that about 10% of the time.
