Options for Diabetic with Heart Stents

Wouldn't go that far, in saying they are the easiest...their new business department has it's fair share of issues, and seem incompetent most of the time...Good company, cut they don't seem to excited to get new business pushed thru. The 4 people in new business seem to be in La-La Land most of the time

Wow, I would say the COMPLETE opposite... I'm sending about 15,000 in AP every month to them and have had 1 decline and 1 rated up from standard to an offer for graded this year... And their Nu Business team have been great to deal with... It's nice to use a carrier that has competent people working for them.. with NO surprises...

Hey Matt, isn't your main carrier UHL?:err:

Having one case rated and one case declined has nothing to do with how slow it takes them to get approvals and policies mailed...and their new business staff contains 4 people. And they are incompetent. As far as UHL, can you please provide evidence of me ever saying Uhl is my mail carrier? I think we both know you just made that story up... I have written maybe 8 cases with UHL in my life. Nice try pilgrim

Ahh, my bad about the UHL comment, I mistook you for another Matt on here... That sucks that you have had incompetence issues with these guys... Seriously, anytime there was an issue, I called them, they answered, assisted me, I faxed any necessary corrections, and they took care of it... No problem!

I get the policy mailed to me within a couple of weeks and deliver it to the client...

I think the real issue you have could be with their Automated system... Once you fax them an app, it does take 48-72 hours for the New Business team to see it... at that point it is either approved already from the Phone Interview or it takes another 1 - 3 days for approval through the EMSI underwriting... If the app is not clean, you have to make the correction and EMSI may not get it for an extra day or 2... and yes that sucks...

Once I caught on to the system, they became my GOTO carrier... along with the extra 5% lead incentive program, they have been great for me...
