Paint scratches - what can I expect insurance to do?

Came in asking for advice, but then suddenly was an expert and got very upset that people wouldn't agree with his interpretation.

Oh, it happens lots on here, you just don't see it all. More of it happens in the life forums. People come in with some idea and ask about it, they don't get the response they want so they get very defensive and try to tell everyone how wrong they are.

It use to be even worse, but traffic on the site is down in my opinion. I think some groups on Facebook are sucking up the people who use to come here.

Most auto policies cover “direct” damage. “Matching” issues that impact market value may be considered “indirect” damage unless you have statutory or case law to support coverage for “repair” work to the undamaged portion of the vehicle.

I meant, of course, "law related forums."

Though I suppose there could be many illegal forums out there. I'm not on any.
