Perfect Example Of Why You Should Door Knock Your Leads

He acts like he built the call center from scratch and invented the live transfer lead. They actually bought a successful FMO/Call Center. I'm not saying that NorthStar's not a nice operation, I just get sick of Ramiz acting like he created it. Here's the guy that created it.

So you are saying if someone wants to get into FE telesales they should probably call Dan Roberts or some of his managers listed there and he would be a good resource?

Not for me. But he looks to be the guy that figured it out for that type of model.

My worst nightmare would be to wake up owning an old mall full of telemarketers. Yikes! Not for me.

No, Roberts Marketing became NorthStar.

Yep, Roberts is the guy that came up with all of Ramiz's good ideas.

Just as a side note. One should remember that no less than Ben Feldman refused to use the phone. Why? Because he felt that if he showed up, he had a better chance of seeing someone! I came into the biz in 1980 the 1st thing I learned was how to DK. Since that time we have gone full circle,,, phones, seminars, DM, automation, auto dialers on and on. When my son joined our biz the 1st day he learned to DK. If you can DK you cannot fail. It's a terrible thing when your old enough to go full circle.

Where does one find this technology?

It's all over the place. Knowing how to put the pieces together is the key.

Tons of moving pieces, Digital Marketing Ads, Landing Pages, Lead Magnets, Integrations, Automations, Auto-responders, Drip Campaigns, Calendar Integrations, Custom Audiences, Look a Like Audiences, Pixels, Google Analytics, Retargeting Campaigns etc.

Knowing how to set all that up should be required for anyone in sales/marketing for the 21st century.

If you would please, give us the name of the approved dictionary that defines "Business Owner" and "Self-employed" in the manner you have. In other words, where did you get this into? Until you can show where you are getting this, then we'll all just come to the conclusion (like Newby has), that you're just making it up to justify yourself and your business and how it's just so much better than what anyone else does. That's all you seem to want to do lately is debate why your method is just so much better.

If you remember... I owned a lead company... Who do you think invented the live transfer lead?

And... The original company was in a professional office building when I first started working with them...

When I took over, very quickly was able to build out the mall...

Again... 2 to 3 million a year is good, and likely the biggest at that time...

They did good...

But the company is way different now.

Just ask the people that work here... they are easy to find on Facebook.

I agree with your general point but you're really dismissing a huge portion of self-employed people as not running businesses.

I know several producers that are solo and make a great living, never worrying where their next dollar is coming from. I promise you that they don't feel "unemployed" in the morning. The wake-up and do what they love and that happens to create a great income.

Most of those people certainly feel like business owners (and are). Try telling this guy that he doesn't run a business: He Left The World of Traditional Employment And Built a Million-Dollar, One-Person Business

Read the stats on non-employer entrepreneurs making over 1m/yr.

However, and maybe it's not the case with FE, when you give up some comp (read as not having NMO/BGA contracts...which no individual producer gets anyway) you get the case managers, contracting people and the case design/internal wholesaling of your upline.

That's your team. They do most of what an employee would do anyway.

Just read the article... Very impressive....

Couple things stick out to me...

He is leveraging technology to market instead of an employee... which is brilliant....

Hes so busy, he doesnt ask for referrals nor does he want any... I imagine his pipeline of leads is so full that he literally cannot keep up...

Third, and probably the most important point... he mentions the need to HIRE more people to sell for him... hes building a business...

I like this guy.

Any resources on where to get started?
