Yeah I tried to tell him that. And he said he wasn't smoking then. But the rate was really good. Like I said I couldn't beat it with anything other than Oxford and that was with te NS rates.
If he wasn't smoking then, then he did qualify for the NS rate.
I don't believe it though. Most people don't take up smoking as a senior. Unless he previously smoked, gave it up for over a year and then took it up again, he was lying. Of course, he may have lied to the agent too. Does Occidental do a phone interview? If so, he lied on the phone too.
