PIPs in Florida

I tried to write a personal auto policy with 3 PIPs in the household. Customer said she was able to buy elsewhere. Didn't know the company. Kept telling me the name of the agency. Anybody believe this?

Sure. Happens all the time. Insurance consumers often relate their insurance to the agency with which they do business and, since they don't bother to read their policies, rarely know the name of the insurance company, unless they are with a direct writer.
