Please DONT Sign My Petition (I unwatched this thread and I don’t care about you)

Perhaps I do not understand the "job" of insurance agent very well.

I thought the job of an insurance agent was to assist Medicare Beneficiary purchasers of health insurance coverage to understand coverage options available to them so the Medicare Beneficiary could make informed purchase decisions.

In my personal, non-agent, opinion, it would be stupid behavior on the part of an insurance agent to attempt to force Part A and Part B providers to take - OR not take (the obverse of the coin) - specific Part C plans.
Does that mean you're not signing her petition? :err:

The main hospital and their many clinics in my area will only contract to be in network with their own MA plans. This is the 2nd year.

None of the hospital/clinics in my area will accept Lasso. Do you think it would help if I got a petition and protested in front of their offices.

What good would it do to have out of state insurance agents sign the petition?

Maybe LD will sign it. He's in Kansas.

This situation, in my opinion, is unique in that the Hospital, Doctors and Clinics will contract with Aetna. If anyone read my Petition they would know, that “
Stormont Vail Health/ Cotton O'Neil Clinics and Stormont Vail Hospital are unfairly discriminating against the Medicare Eligible Citizens they serve by refusing to contract for Medicare Advantage Plans with UnitedHealthCare, in particular.

Those who are affected the most are those Citizens who are both Medicare and Medicaid Dual Eligible, the most vulnerable population.

In the State of Kansas, Medicaid is managed by a Private Health Insurance Company of the Consumers choice. In the State of Kansas, Consumers have 3 options, UnitedHealthCare, Aetna, or Sunflower. All three Insurance Companies have Medicare Advantage Plans for Dual Eligibles. However, Stormont-Vail HealthCare/ Cotton O’Neil will only accept ONE Medicare Advantage Plan that works with their State Medicaid and that’s AETNA.

WHY IS THAT?

On the Non-Dual Aetna Medicare Advantage Plans, it says right on the plan, “In partnership with Cotton O’Neil/ Stormont Vail”.

I am asking for the Administration of Cotton O’Neil and all the Physicians, Nurses, and Staff to LET US IN!!!!!

STOP UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES TO THE EXCLUSION OF ONE OF THE STATES OWN TRUSTED INSURANCE CARRIERS.

Stormont Vail Health/ Cotton O'Neil Clinics and Stormont Vail Hospital:

We the People of the Great State of Kansas hereby demand that you contract with UnitedHealthCare Medicare Advantage Plans immediately and stop the unfair trade practice.

LET US IN.

I’ve decided that my “Fellow” Insurance Agents don’t want to support me, they just want to be jerks. Ok, have fun with that.

I incorrectly hoped that I’d get a few signatures just “Because” for fellowship, being on the same team. Turns out people are A$$holes everywhere.

You're trying to do the job of the Insurance company. UHC negotiates with the hospital/clinic separately with MA and Medicaid.

The group I referred to won't accept BCBS Medicaid.

Medical provider selectivity in Part C coverage they will or won't accept has been a consistent subject of agent comments for longer than I have been a forum member.

The situation you describe in Topeka is no different than it is in a bunch of cities across the country. If you want to fix it, get Moran and Marshall to start some Part C change legislation.
