The real story is the fact the pardon does not just cover the tax and gun charges but any crimes he may have committed in the past. It will do congress no good to look into the Burisma mess and other questionable deals with China and other foreign countries. When it comes to these deals, perhaps Biden needs to pardon himself before he leaves office.

Yeah, but the pardon may work against them. If the congress suspeonas Hunter, he can no longer invoke the 5th. He will have to answer or be held in contempt.
