I don't know who you are talking to up there at ACI where the phi takes only 5 min. I've never done one with any carrier that was under at least 10, and frankly 10 would be a short one. I know there are a few of them out of the CA location that are absolutely awful, stops on every condition and re-reads the "have you been treated or taken medication in the last 2 yrs for X, have you been treated or taken medication in the last 2 yrs for X", instead of just reading the question like the app actually has it listed.
I keep a record of those and hang up and call back when I am unlucky enough to get them again. I actually reported one because she was such a bitch it was unreal. She actually told the client she was going to terminate the interview if she kept having to reask the questions (the lady was hard of hearing).

I hate the way RNA asks for meds. I hate that they don't ask for your number in the case of a disconnect. I time all phone interviews and RNA's averages 10 minutes. The AmCon averages 5 minutes. I also call into to them on a different line than other have to use. They ask the questions all at once the way RNA does. I have had to call the line that everyone else uses sometimes so I know what you are talking about.
RNA is really a bear on a couple though. You have to do two complete interviews. AmCon allows you to save all the info from the first one so you can do a husband and wife in the same amount of time it takes to do one person with RNA.
As for not having to do the RNA POS and keep it from being done there is special wording that I have to write on the 1st page. If I forget to put that on there then they will call them.
