Post Your Daily/Weekly Numbers

Only when we are in front of FE clients:laugh:

That is so true JD. Me, you, Gooner, Travis, hell even Scott, none of us have what I consider HIGH lead costs, we are just effective. I pretty much write $2k to $2500 part time, get me if front of 7 to 10 people and Im writing $2500 that week.

They know one thing for certain. ..
Premium x 12 x 1._ _ = ______ x .75 = ____

You know that reminds me, someone had an iPhone app that did that calculation for you. It might have been so long ago that it was a palm pilot app. But it was passed around here on the forum a lot.

If I remember right, you input your monthly premium for the week and how many leads you ran and your total cost for the leads. It spit out your total AP, total annual commission, advanced amount, subtracted lead cost and showed you your profit and working cash flow.

Pretty cool.

You need to find that! I am in Mississippi and can't add or multiply!

I know that's right. You guys in MS sure can subtract though. That's how you know how many teeth you've had subtracted/extracted.

$3,300 is still a great week! Do that all year you'll produce over $150,000! I'm out in the field right now, so hungry.. One of the true difficulties about this business. Finding time to eat food! Lol.. My week is going good.. I did $1,811 yesterday on 3 apps. I'm over $6,700 ap for the week. Door knocking leads today.. My goal is always $7,500 when I hit $800 today I'm heading home and calling it a week. Hope everyone is having a good week! ---------- 2 sales today.. $87 / month gerber and $51 a month RNA sale Finished the day 2 for 2 $1,666 AP Finished the week at 12 sales 16 face to faces for $8,383 AP This business is simple but its not "easy". It's simple in the fact that if you do a few things consistently every week you WILL be successful. 1. Order LEADS EVERY WEEK! I try to set myself up to where I get 30 direct mail leads every week. Some weeks it's hard to keep up with all of them but I personally would rather have too much than not enough. Leads is the life blood of our business! 2. See the people! If you want to double your income in this business the answer of doing that is simple. Double the amount of prospects you sit down with. Show me a guy who CONSISTENTLY sits down and has a full presentation with at least 15 people a week and I will show you a guy who can't help but be successful. 3. Be a problem solver NOT a regular salesman When you're sitting down with prospects ask questions like "what was your motivation for filling out this card?", ask and write down names of children and use those names throughout the presentation. Find out what the clients need is and show them how your program is EXACTLY what the client is looking for. If you want to start having the success that so many of the agents on this forum are having you need to be willing to do what they are doing. Also, to all the new agents to FE... Don't be so concerned about getting contracted with 15 companies right away. When I started I had 2 companies.. A company that offered a full benefit and graded benefit. And second I had a gauranteed issue company. Between those two I was able to write a ton of business. It's important to keep your priorities in order. Product knowledge is NOT as important as getting out in the field, cutting your teeth and seeing the people with a few companies you represent Maybe you need more than 2 companies, but starting off you don't need more than 5. I hope this helps someone! Would love to hear thoughts , others numbers and more success tips to add to the list.

Thanks...great post! No matter how long you're in the biz it can be encouraging and helpful to be reminded of the basics by others doing the same things. I've been independent, through my GA, but only agent writing business in 4 yrs, and only agent in this downline, so this forum and many threads have been hugely helpful. In the hole on leads. Generating some business off old DM leads, follow ups, and existing clients. Will never be down road again! 30 fresh DM's / week is exactly what's needed. Time to dig deep
I've already got some connections here for leads and sources...
Monday wrote a GI after setting appt last Friday- $1323 AP (60% Gi comm)
Tuesday - 0
Wednesday - 2hr drive 1hr presentation 2hr drive back with a high probability of conversion, but no sale...yet. Guy has a 25 year old UL about to implode and sees now that his $100k policy is eating up his CV. Should be a $1200-1800 AP Sale. Pushed him as hard as possible to get off the fence. "Needs a day or 2" 50/50 chance.

Keep up the inspiring work everyone! I got my work cut out to catch up to some of y'all

Glad to hear you've gotten some useful information and encouragement!

In regards to the UL Replacement that wouldn't make a decision.. Both of my sales on Tuesday were people that told me "let me think about it" and wouldn't make a decision the day before. You can typically tell when someone's just saying that to blow you off or they really are considering it. Anyway I set an appointment with both of them after they told me to let me think about it and closed both of them. That doesn't happen all the time but it DOES happen. I know this business is a "one stop close" typically but there's an exception to every rule.

Good luck to you!

Finished for the week..

Daily/weekly totals

Monday: 3 sales for $2,040 AP

Second appointment: no show..

Third appointment : 2 small rna sales on husband and wife for a total of $672 AP

Forth appointment : no show...

Fifth appointment: $1,670 AP husband and wife replacement sales! She had two policies and I was able to get her more coverage for less money a month. He had colonial pen and was in a 2 year wait. Got him immediate coverage and $3,000 more coverage for the same price!

Wednesday totals: 6 sales out of 6 face to faces for $4,584 AP

Weekly total : $8,857 AP on 11 apps

A great way to maximize your time and to hit bigger numbers is to stay focused on what the task at hand is.
In other words, when I'm out in the field.. I am focused on one thing and that's writing business! I save all the extra stuff for a designated office day. Returning client calls, catching up on the forum, paperwork etc. I've tried to have days where I've tried to focus on too many things at once while I'm out in the field and found I didn't do any of them successfully. Have focused concentrated time when you're in the field. Have focused and concentrated time when you're in the office taking care of office work. It is true that every detail of our business has its place and time. Don't lack in the area of calling lapsing policies! Set up a designated office day to take care of that don't try and do it while you're out in the field. There might be people that do both successfully but I am way too ADD to try and focus on more than one thing at a time. This has worked for me, hopefully it helps someone else too.

Hope you're all having a good week.
