PPACA Will Implode

Thankfully CA residents don't have to worry about all of this. We're on board with anything that even slightly stinks of socialism.

Thanks YAgents for those articles. I think the states wield a lot of power. HHS wields a lot of power, too. This election will be important for EVERY open office, not just the Presidential office.

There were some comments in the second article that are eye-opening, such as:
  • If a state refuses to run the exchange and the Feds run it (which means subsidies are not allowed), then larger businesses with 50+ employees in those states will not have the "play or pay" penalty. Larger businesses will lobby their state governments to not set up the exchanges.
  • Doctors, Providers, Insurers and large Businesses will flock to the states that have better rules.
I think those are very important issues.

This caught my attention too. I thought the IRS rules on this issue stating the Federal Exchange can hand out subsidies.

There is no way HHS & IRS under Obama is going to let this slide under a technicality.
