Questions After Day 1 in Field

The last TIA was within the last year.

I have monu, RNA, Americo, Assurity, Forethought and AmAm. Any of those guys only have 2 years on cancer?

RNA is 2 years. Americo is 3 years. I don't have Assurity or AmAm. I haven't looked a t a Forethought app in years so I don't know mwhat they ask.

On RNA's replacement form, is there a suicide period? And do I need to send in the conditional receipt page if no check/future bank draft?

First off: GOOD JOB!!!

Secondly, what is her husband's age... is he smoker or n/s. Is his AARP covg modified ROP or 1st day full covg? Also as JD asked about the wife, how long since her last TIA? She may not need to be modified as she may qualify for graded covg.

But those little nuances of underwriting and which plan will accept which risk as 1st day, or graded, etc... comes with experience and practice.

Yeah, thats what Im figuring out. Husband is 75, NT. His AARP is 1st day coverage Term.

RNA doesn't ask that question on the replacement form. They do have that question on the replacement questionaire.

The questionaire doesn't have to be used in all states. I'm assuming you are in Indiana and it does have to be used there. That's in addition to the replacement form. Don't have to use either in Indiana if no replacement is involved.

But, yes, RNA does have a suicide clause.

The low average I was referring to was the AP per month. Shooting to average $600 AP per app not 600 between 2 apps.

And I dont think I have a true GI.

Ive got a lady:

72
3 TIAs
Zomig for seisure/migraines...??? Thats what she said.
Prozac
Prevacet
Gabbapentin-Arthritis
Toporol- TIA and Afib
Requip- Restless legs
Kidney Cancer 3 years ago. Kidney removed no metastasis.

Sounds GI to me.

Her husband just bought an AARP term 14K for $61/mo and knows it will go up to $128 next year and knows it will cancel at 80 unless he converts.

He had colon cancer 3 years ago. He's monu standard, but the rates are nowhere close to AARPs. Maybe next year after he's 4 years from cancer I can sign him, but I dont know.

If he has $14000 face with AARP's term it going to be way more than $128/mo next increase.

Not always such a good thing in this market. Many times they make the kids the beneficiaries without their knowledge for a reason. When you contact the kids they didn't know and then they go see what's up and can interfere with the deal.

I've the kids mess up more than one deal after the fact.

Being a rookie myself I had a client call her son to get his ssn for beneficiary info on the app. He blew the whole deal up telling mom he will pay out of pocket. I saved it in the house by convincing her although he could afford it now things could change for him.

I now know the ssn is not mandatory so that will not happen to me again. Live and learn......

Well thats what AARP told him. He even wrote it down on the back of his policy.

It should be in his policy what the rate is going to be. If not, and sometimes they don't to show that rate, you will have to call them with him. Not saying someone there didn't say that to him but that not what the rate will be.

Do I have to either mail or fax the apps to RNA? I cant email them??? Who uses faxes nowaday anyway. I have a VOIP phoneline, I dont even think those work with faxes. I guess i can get an online fax...

No idea on that. I fax my apps to EFES. I don't know they get them to the companies. I have faxed directly to RNA.

That's a question to ask RNA.
