Quote Engine Question

I would like to host my own web site and add a Life and Health quote template so I can have fresh leads funneled to me. Is there a quote template / engine I could host for free or one I can buy inexpensively that would do the job? I looked at the other posts and I didn't find anything that answered this question.

Why would you want quotes? Those are merely people curious about a price. It does not mean they will buy. If they do, they will probably search for a quote the following year.

Over 15 years on the internet, I have develop a personal lead system, where my clients. (insurance companies and marketing firms come to me to buy). The internet is full of prospects, save your money until your know the right place to put it.

Besides do you have 15 years os true SEO experience, 50 websites, and misleading websites, to capture "maybe" names. Stay away from the area of generating poor quality response.

plays2win: Do not be so anxious to lose. Setting up 50 sites is not easy, not are the techniques used to flag in unknowing people.

Save your money until you know how to achieve you own lead system of people actually wanting to buy.

have you launched your website already? or are you starting everything from scratch?

if you havent yet launched your website, you're about 5 or 6 steps ahead of yourself.

as far as quote email templates, I was looking for the same thing myself about a month ago. I think you're better off staying away from free templates because 1. finding the right template with the right questions is very hard to find and 2. free templates usually include ads (something your customers will find annoying).

the solution may be right under your nose. the domain where you created your site usually has design tools that allows you to create your own template (and most of them don't require complicated html coding). they're very simple to use and only takes about a half hour to create.

You posted on another thread about going with a career shop. Just remember, whether you get your securities license or not, you will need to get any website approved by compliance.

Please define what "approved by compliance" means in regards to setting up a website. Does that mean the DOI would need to give me their stamp of approval?

DOI approval is different from the page full of compliance requirements from the SEC.

As far as your "quote engine", are you looking for yearly shoppers or long term clients?

A "lead" company does not need all the restrictions, as they are not the ones selling the insurance. This is like hiring a telemarketer, technically they should be licensed, but how many are?

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've been told that telemarketing scripts have to be approved, even though it is a contractor doing it.

Remember with securities, the B/D can make up its own rules.

What is suppose to be done, and what in reality happens are two different stories.

Did you register with the FTC before you made your last business call? That is a law, subject to fine that probably every person on here is guilty of.
