Rebate Check Amounts

BCBS AZ sent us a MLR rebate report of the check amounts. Looks like some of my clients are gonna get a windfall equivalent to a 1/2 tank of gas, or maybe a family dinner that includes a menu listing calories.

Be sure to thank your president for turning the entire health system on it's head for for chump change!

On my BCBSAZ report, one IFP client gets $203.37 back, another gets $206.27 and one gets $176.77. The rest vary from $24.26 to $89.89. A few of my group clients get a couple thousand dollars back.

I know that Health Net and Aetna didn't need to make MLR rebates in AZ, but I haven't heard about Cigna, Humana, or United Healthcare/Golden Rule. Do you know?

Are rebates going out in any of the other states you guys do business in?
