Reconciliation- Pathetic, Just Pathetic

Man, this takes the cake. Read this link about the various options the dems have, or lack thereof. Part way down on the second page or so they speculate how they could still use reconciliation even though it is not clear that there are enough votes left for even that.

Catch this: It talks about using Joe Biden to break a tie vote on reconciliation. So we have slipped all the way from bipartisan, down to supermajority then to reconciliation and now down to reconciliation with the Vice President being one of the votes.

Man, that is just pathetic, just pathetic. That is embarassing. Time to put a fork in it. Try marketing that one to the public: Health reform was passed with a minority of the Senators votes but the Vice President added his in. Man that is some really, really zesty plan.

Dem impasse on health bill continues - Carrie Budoff Brown and Patrick O'Connor - POLITICO.com

Part of the problem here is the entire Republican party are unified in opposition to anything that the Dems do, regardless on impact to the country or their home district. I guess its an achievement to convince half of them to vote against their own districts best interest in order to appease their corporate overlords and their national party so they will still receive funds from the RNC. Bunch of unified, moronic patsies, across the aisle from a bunch of un-unified, spineless wimps that lack any common sense. No surprise that the republicans are the only ones that do anything, even if what they do is so stupid it makes my head spin.

You wanna hear something really really funny, they're planning to change focus to the environment for the election cycle, because arguably the republicans are in a idiotic position there and they aren't going to change it, but the best I can tell the democrats want to give them the entire south and rust belt, to keep their coastal strongholds, because people here care about jobs and couldn't care less about the environment. They believe that the environment is somehow going to gain traction in these areas, its a laugh.

Perhaps, but let the record be clear. The health bill is hung up due to dem opposition, not republican. Dems have a majority in the house, and the current bill has already cleared the senate. All they have to do is pass it.

What people are really saying is that there are not enough republican votes to compensate for the dems that dont want it either.

Very true the Dems do not need the Repubs to pass this and prior to Scott Brown ( who isn't even seated yet) they could do anything in the senate but if you listen to them its all the Republicans fault...And voting against things that help their districts maybe but they are voting as their constituents want. Haven't you visited any of these town hall meetings (Winter I'm not speaking to you here but the other person)

LOL! Get a clue dude. Your TN boy Al Gore has a zinc mine on the family homestead in Carthage, TN. It has been there for decades thanks to royalties the Gore clan got from Occidental Petroleum. Gore old klansman pa was pals with Armand Hammer the CEO of OXY and he was a real slime and pals with the commies in the politburo. Hammer actually helped finance Lenin's revolution in Russia. The mining lease and royalty payments to the Gores was a payback.

Well this zinc mine for decades has been leaching barium, iron, zinc, arsenic, chromium and lead with traces of cyanide into the Caney Fork and Cumberland Rivers, surrounding soil and also the ground water in TN. Nice how the Gore's poison people in TN. I guess it caused people from the great state of TN to use run on sentences.

Gore also supported the Clinch River Breeder Reactor for TN to enrich plutonium which is HIGHLY dangerous. Gore then tried to intimidate witnesses then smear them with the TN newspaper who were in the Gore kkklan's pocket. Thankfully the TVA cnaceled the project. Gore supported a paper plant that polluted the Pidgeon river flowing into TN.

There are at least 5 other examples of Gore doing garbage like this.

Don't you just love how the media doesn't pay attention to his energy use or Carbon footprint and we should all bow down and follow his word on the Environment and let us not forget if it wasn't for Gore no internet and as such no forum boy aren't we lucky he took the initiative and created the internet :)
