Be very careful about recording calls. If you're selling in multiple states, each state has a different standard on consent.

As long as you notify them at the beginning of the call, you will be OK.
Idk, call me immoral, but if I wanted to record a call to listen back to and then delete I wouldn't ask or care what the law was on it. If I figured I would send it to other people that would be different

let me rephrase... I will be calling clients that have already submitted info to me.. and review some of the questions i asked them...

for ex.. to review the recorded line questions where a carrier asks the insured to do xyz. like at gtl

It's not an issue of morality, it's a question of legality. It's a pretty easy thing to resolve and most people don't care..

In some states, like MI, it's a felony to record a call with all parties not giving consent.. which can cost you your license.

Do you though.

In Ops case, he definitely wants consent.. He's putting information from the call on an app.. So let's say Farmer Fred says he didn't tell Op something and gets sued. He can use the call as evidence. However, then he gets charged with privacy violation...

Louis is totally right. It's easy to do, just make sure you do it.

I'm sure the recordings police would come to find a deleted recording of a call. What if I wrote own what was said verbatim from memory does that make me a felon in MI also
