Looks like the Senator from Chappaquiddick is (could be) still thinking big with someone else's money. I am sure these are sad times for Uncle Teddy because we all know how he hates to see general motors sink. However, we know that this is not the first time that he has seen an american automobile go underwater, eh?

Because the Socialists are in power, health reform is going to happen in some form but I dont see it as whatever Teddy and Barry want they will get anymore. The reformers are up against one big thing now that they had not planned on: California.

Congress is up for re-election all the time, unlike Obama, and more and more voters are becoming concerned that there could actually be consequences if you don't live within your means. This is a new thought for many people and the reports out of California will only get more intense right while Obama is still telling everyone that there is no limit to anything you want or dream about. Perhaps Obama should think about the words of his spiritual advisor who always said that sooner or later the chickens will come home to roost.

California is the state that has the largest percentage of Obama supporters who are in tune with his way of thinking and voted for him overwhelmingly. It is also the first state to tank. Coincidence? You decide.

Oh indeed. It is all part of the same picture. If you live beyond your means, sooner or later your life is controlled by loan sharks.

Perhaps Obama can encourage everyone to put their fears aside and help to stimulate the economy by loading up the kids and heading out for a vacation at Yosemite.

I would think that anyone truly in the Obamaland's health care reform boot/training camp would ask Sotomayor why her hubby doesn't accept Medicare or Medicaid patients.

Perhaps he's had an opportunity to deal with the government running things in the past?

Or maybe he has been banned from doing business with medicare for overbilling or fraud. We must remain open-minded here.

Since she was appointed by Obama, I just assume that either she or the hubster have tax problems. Did we forget to mention that she has a "compelling story."

He grew up in poverty and was the son of immigrant parents. He made himself into a multi-millionaire through the force of his personality and hard work. Who was he? Al Capone.

Yeh, I notice that when the dems talk about that compelling life story they gloss over the part about the poor latina gal getting her first break when the big bad republican H.W. Bush appointed her to the bench. One must concede that that helps on the path to becoming a Supreme Court Justice.

Of course the contribution of a minority person is not recognized until they go liberal. Thus, Condi's rise was not recognized by the libs or acknowledged at all, nor was the fact that Colin Powell headed up the joint chiefs/Gulf War campaign and was also Secretary of State. No credit was given by the libs whatsoever for their journey. Then, Powell comes out in favor of Obama and suddenly he is a great American.

I stand corrected, it is her brother Juan. Does that really make much of a difference? It would still be interesting to find out why.....
