Remote working perks

I'm a third generation entrepreneur. My grandfather ran a small engine repair shop and my dad took it over when grandfather died.

That's a lot of hours during the spring, summer and fall. I opted to say no thank you and worked for 14 years.

I help people get Medicare sorted for them and write. That's how I make money. I'm paid enough to cover my bills and not want for anything.

Anything more than that doesn't really add enjoyment to my life...

Although, now I need more heavy duty equipment to maintain my property. Trying to mow 3 acres with a 20 inch push mower is absolutely no fun.

Which one is you?

Yup, yup and hang overs are for beginners: ).

This year my office has been in Maryland, a couple weeks every 3 months with my new granddaughter, Miami, multiple times in Beach front hotels on the Pacific Coast, Las Vegas, and in the California redwoods. And multiple Wineries, Breweries and music venues.

Just finished digitizing my file cabinets. What a job. The last 5 bins are going to the shredders next week. 5 file cabinets are being sold or donated. My portable multi machine, Surface Pro, noise canceling headset and flip flops fit in a very small carry on. I am going to try on the Grey Beard Digital Nomad boonie and flip flops.

I let my hair get longer now days, maybe that messy bun is in my future also.

What a great business.

I love my Surface. I don't lose a beat while out of the office.

Hope my boss doesn't find out I am drinking on the job or I may dock my pay.

Lolz. I showed up at the crack of 11am. I sent a few emails, and filled out some forms. Now its 2pm and I'm going to go grocery shopping. Maybe I'll do some yoga after I get home with groceries. I feel bad for the staff that has to work all day. I mean, not bad enough that I'll actually do a full week of work, but you know, bad enough that it crosses my mind.

I often talk about how easy it is now, but dear god it was a horrific grind building up my book in the beginning.
