xrac, you also have two green boxes now. What kind of superior-dancing BS does THAT entitle you to?
Wow! Where did that come from? As far as what special superior-dancing BS it entitles me to I have not a clue
but it has made me a glorious beacon of light. Click on the green boxes and it will tell you so.

I think Todd brings up a decent point, it is probably better to have the username of whomever left the feedback displayed, so that people are standing behind what they say, if they have something negative or positive to say.
There is a setting that I can change that will allow everyone to see who left everyone else feedback, both for all past feedback and for future feedback.... that might make it a more useful system. I will think about making the change, feel free to let me know if you are for or against the change, although I reserve the right to not listen to anyone!

Why? On some boards people with negative reps can't post into certain forums, or are booted off for a while.
On here, at least now, this serves no real purpose. There is no guidance on what a positive or negative reputation point is, who monitors it, what the appeal process would be, etc.
I would suggest turning it off, or leaving as is. Trying to implement it somewhat encourages people not speaking up, or it encourages Paul to try to get back to red now that he has been forced green.

Leaving the name of who posts the comment makes sense but it will probably also result in a lot of pay back type posts especially in the case of negative posts. If you want to leave a negative post you would not do it for fear of retaliation (ebay had that problem and now sellers cannot leave negative feedback). With most of my feedback I leave my name so they now who posted. All in all I think that I would vote to leave it alone although I can see it both ways.

I think any type of feedback rating should be shut off as long as the forum allows anonymous posting. Don't really see what the point is.
Funny after reading this post earlier I looked at my feedback. Had a poster give me feedback which called me an *** after saying they totally agreed with and had already implemented my advice. My comments while correct were written a little too condescending for them. Please.
