Robert Ringer's Thoughts on Obama

You lost. Try to be gracious in defeat... as PRESIDENT Obama was in victory today. Al (the forum ***)

Well, that is true. Just as the libs lost when Bush was elected.

How about if those voters who "lost" this time treat Obama fairly. "Fair" meaning that for the next four years they treat Obama as the libs treated Bush.

Will that work for ya? Or were you hoping to do better than that?

He could tell you about his clients. Both of 'em.

When one is my old friend Ross Perot and the other is a guy I went to school (New York Military Academy) Donnie Trump, how many do you need. :D

I worked for Ross Perot in the early 70s in both the brokerage and insurance (health) divisions. It was a small company and Ross knew everyone in the Dallas HQ where I spent a year (1976).

I spent 5th and 6th grade at NYMA while my folks were getting a divorce (not done in the 50s... lots of stigma to it.) The Donald was two grades above me but it was a small school back then. He was a leader even back in those early days... smart, friendly to everyone, the whole package.

On a serious note I know four guys and one gal (all in Palm Beach County where my mother lives) each who only have ONE client. There is major $$$ down there (or there used to!)

You all joke about it but I don't look for guys living in a van down by the river or young couples living in a third-floor walk-up to write 10 year term for $100K face. You work just as hard going after an upscale market as you do with the downscale... and you can make a lot more income and meet a lot of interesting people.

Of course it helps to be somewhat wealthy, educated, and connected to do that and guys like Winter and Mr. Bill in this venue wouldn't know a fish knife from a Bowie knife or Beluga from trout bait. I'm convinced that the only thing most of you learned in high school or junior college (if you got that far) was not to draw to an inside straight.

The people spoke based on incredible marketing and media support of Obama! Al, so you know, I didn't vote for either candidates. Still you should know the sheeple are clueless, they are spoon fed, and then regurgitate what they were fed.

If people ever actually thought and used reason, we wouldn't be where we are today.

The American people have given him an honest look... and cast their vote. They had a clear choice. Over a million showed up to see today's festivities. (Of course all you conservatives are elitists and don't trust in the people, you trust in the bankers and businessmen... whom we all know have done so well.)

You conservatives gave us the worst president in the history of the country... and you want us to believe that you have any credibility on the subject leadership?

Only in this venue, only with right-wing insurance agents... does stupidity know no bounds.

Al3, I just wanted to add that the reason I agreed with your self-assessment that you are an *** is two-fold. First, I believe it to be true, but secondly, and most importantly, it helps me get to the required posts so that I can PM some of the agents on here that actually use the brain God gave them.

I'm convinced that the only thing most of you learned in high school or junior college (if you got that far) was not to draw to an inside straight.

Maybe you shouldn't - or maybe you should...

For those of us who have actually played some profitable poker, this calculation is dependent upon the pot odds you are getting.

Of course if it's open on both ends, that's another story.
