Robert Ringer's Thoughts on Obama

al3: I did go to a 4 year college and got a double bachelors degree (Structural Engineering & Finance), that I got a scholarship too. I also have a Masters Degree, that I paid for (Macro Economics) from another good school. I am currently in my 2nd year of Law School, and you guessed it I am paying for it. I grew up dirt poor and pulled myself up by the "bootstrap." I am not a victim of any circumstance or of my enviornment. I simply decided I wanted better for myself and my future family, which is now enjoying the fruits of my labor. I only say this so that "you" know I am qualified to make a comment to your illustrious post. I am not too intelligent to learn from another, nor am I so ignorant to disregard the thought of another without proper cause. Yes! To disregard anothers idea simply because you disagree makes you ignorant. A truly intelligent person such as yourself should know that the only way to be intelligent is to first realize how stupid you really are. With all that being said I would like to leave you with one thought, because that is all I am capable of.

IF Barack Obama's father was from Kenya and his father was half-arabic and half-"black", and his mother was white; would that not make him half-white, quarter-BLACK, and a quarter-arabic.

So with this being said and he is truly one-quarter black; yet he claims he is a proud black American (only after getting the nod).

What about his other lineage that he is discriminating against?

Who is the racist now?

Why did I ask the above questions? Because this is about the dumbest thing I've seen posted here so far this year!

On the internet anyone can be a Ph.D. although on this list I doubt most of the people got past junior college, and guys like Freddie barely made it out of high school.

Isn't it something. I'm from California and some of the most educated people I know are from there. The state I live in now seems to be run by some of the dumbest rednecks you could ever meet. Yet, while the state of California will be issuing IOU's for tax refunds, the state I live in now has one of the lowest foreclosure rates in the country and seems to be weathering the storm. It makes you wonder what the definition of smart is.

I got my undergrads from Georgia Tech; masters and law from the University of Missouri. I am not a Phd! I still do not see why this is relevant. Who cares about ones educational past? I have educated myself and will continue to educate myself because I value a different prospective, and realize that my ideas are not the only ones worth considering.

I am asking a question and would ask that you put your differences aside to enlighten me. Or at the very least humor me.

I am not asking for a list of your past accomplishments in order to value your opinion. I value everyone's opinion, I just do no agree with everybody.

I find it troublesome that you try to attack ones education, or lack there of, to discredit, devalue, or demoralize another's ideas; is it not this same ignorance that fueled the hatred back in the 60's (Yes, I am even capable of reading your past posts).

I have found that the people who attack another's education or comprehension, are really just insecure about their own. So which is it? To this point I still have not asked about your past educational experiences, nor will I give you the pleasure.

You can not say that I am stupid, but I am ignorant in some cases. (An intelligent person will recognize the difference) Truly a person of such educational proficiency would not care to answer my very "simple" question.

Bill, with all that education I would hope that the above is a typographical error. Of course, you know it is "paid.":skeptical:

Thank you.....LOL. Sometimes when I get deep in thought I forget to go through and re-check after spell check.....I will do a better job in the future............;)

I for one could care less what color this guy is. I do care about whether this will stay a capitalist society or change to a socialist system.

I could also care less about what Al thinks about this subject and his opinion of conservative republicanism. Sounds like he has a lot of guilt for the past and should embrace moving in the direction of big government and less private freedom, except where it concerns killing babies.
