I was going to see if anyone knew how far back the Rx check went back. 5 yrs 7 yrs 10yrs? To make a long story short I have a lady who had a prescription about 10 years ago, and if this came up in the system it could be a problem. Didn't know how this actually worked on their database. Anyone know?

They go back long way if they want. It's not a prolem unless it's been withing the timeframe on the application. I did a phone interview with AmAm a year or two ago and they asked the lady about prescriptions filled 8 and 9 years ago.

She was approved anyway since the application asked 2 years.

JD, thank you. Thats what I was afraid of. It was a prescription that would relate to the "have you ever" type question.

I am impressed with you JD. You write business, and on my last two threads you are the first to respond with quite promptness. I don't know how you do it all.

I would tell you but then I'd have to kill you!!:twitchy:

As for the question on the app, if it's "have you ever?" then the truthful answer is irrelevant to how far the Rx check goes back.

Great point. It was supposedly a misdiagnosis of it, and therefore she quit taking the pill a few months after. I should be fine, I just need to perhaps document. But then I thought, why even document and bring issue of misdiagnosis to the table if the prescription doesn't even pop up in the system.

But I also was just curious and had never thought about how far back the Rx check went. I doubt the Pharmacy keeps a lifetime log on all of their patients. I asked an agent/friend of mine and he thought it was 7 years. But I think that might be how the MIB handles their logging data for look back period.
