salary offered?

Hey everyone,

Just a couple of quick question, I just got my P&C license last week, I like to know when I go to interviews, should I be expecting a base salary? or just commision? what is the average income for a newbie? Do they give you customers or is it through cold calling?

And also, what company is good to start out with as a newbie that offers good training?

While I do not do P&C, I know an agent that went to Farm Bureau and has a base "learning" salary for the beginning, that fades away as his book grows.

I think some other companies will do that as well.
