Quit being bitter. You didnt close. Next time close harder and you will get the commision. It is a hard lesson and we all want to be the nice guy, no pressure. I know we aways will come out ahead and actually save ourselves alot of grief if we just do it. Ask for the business, find out the objection, overcome and close. My 2 cents.
