Send Out Cards... Does It Work?

I'm able to send cards for now, so I'll keep using it until I use up my points or they completely break it.

I'll use up my points and expenses. I used to think I got good value from SoC. Now I don't. Time to move on.

Last word from them, there was a "glitch" in the system that had allowed me to be on pay as you go without a yearly or monthly subscription and get points at $.49/each. They system was never designed that way but a few people were in that same situation.

This last revamp of the system brought those errors to ther attention and it's not been repaired and all members are on equal footing now. You can pay a yearly subscription or a monthly subscription and get discounted cards or you can remain pay as you go and pay as much as $.99 per point.

It was never explained to me like that. The large sign on I paid 5 years ago was supposed to be so that I wouldn't have to have a membership. But, the above is their story now.

Do you still have your ppwk? I would think it would outline what you got when you signed up. A friend of mine tried to sign me up many moons ago.... all I vaguely remember was it was $400 to join, then I believe there was either a monthly fee OR you pay as you go. I didn't dig into it that deeply, so I can't really recall.... the $400 start-up fee turned me off. So you might be right...maybe they just changed it now.

I probably have it somewhere since it was tax deductable. That was over 5 years ago. I'm not going to dig it out. I guess it might have been $399? I was thinking it was $299.

Either way, they have lost their value to me. I've been ready to dumpt them for a couple of years because of the slowness. They just gave me a push out the door.

To me, even if they are slow.... I love the idea and it certainly takes the hassle out of it - and you don't have to worry about forgetting an important date.

I'm waiting to see whether they can get the system fixed so that it works (even if slow) correctly. Doesn't matter how fast or slow the cards go out if they can't get it working properly (automated) so that it does it for you - and you are not constantly having to check on it & worry about it.

I wonder about all the guys that do the MLM side of that... I bet they aren't happy right now, especially if lots of folks bail due to the issues.

Exactly. I have been putting off signing up and now they're having issues. I really don't care or want to do it manually.

Maybe DaytonaGuy will chime in soon. I know he uses SOC heavily.

I think he sells it................

Both. He uses it a lot. SoC is an MLM system. Daytona Guy is an upline. But, if you are going to sign up with SoC you have to be under someone. Might as well be Daytona Guy.

He is not my upline because I didn't know of this back when I signed up. They assigned an upline to me. All I know about him is his name.

I don't SoC for any campaigns. No automated sending for me. Everything I send through them I do it manually. If I did use a campaign then I would probably look at this differently.

I'm not busting on the system per se. It is just not for me now.
