Senior Dental, Vision and Hearing Policy

I was in Alaska for 10 days and submitted 16 MA apps in July, working less than part-time at home. I recruited and trained one more agent than you did.

Also played golf 22 days out of the month. (Yes, that makes 32 days but I'm very good at time management).:D

How are you guys doing MA's from home? Everyone that I have requires a face to face meeting.

I've been using primarily Aetna and UHC. Aetna does not require F2F and I've used them "remotely" for PFFS. All my HMO enrollments, primarily with UHC have been done in person.

I know you are writing PFFS mainly and I assume with only one primary carrier. Most carriers require F2F except for Aetna and Pyramid that I know of.

Don't know how anyone does them primarily via mail. Some, perhaps. But all?

Could be a case of "blowing smoke syndrome."

Rick,

There aren't any agents who would "blow smoke" on this forum. Everyone tells it exactly how it is. NOT!

I have seen agents writing over 100 MA's a month...

They were captive and doing mainly SNP's...

I dont think their clients were later serviced well though...

But still 100 a month is just nuts.

Coventry's Advantra Freedom doesn't require a F2F, I can enroll them online.

Seriously? I do Advantra Freedom, Did one this past week. It has always been my understanding that you had to meet with them.

I believe you if you say you have done them without a F2F, but, where do I get this information? From the company? My FMO?

Of course, for first time customers, I would want to meet with them anyway. But, for re-enollments, that would save a lot of time and expense.

Yes, I do mostly PFFS. I'm contracted with Pyramid, Coventry, Wellcare, Chespeake, and UHC.

I do mostly Wellcare and Pyramid. There are many counties in Ky where Wellcare in available, so, I use Coventry in those counties for $0 premium. I only use the UHC in Tn for the HMO plans and I do very few of those. Even if I could do those without a meeting, I wouldn't.

I explain all options available to my clients. Even med sups. I even tell them that med sups are the way to go if they can afford the premiums. I don't lose many clients. I just bet I couldn't say that if I was enrolling them without a face to face. Now, occasionaly, I will have a dual Wellcare client drop the plan over a misunderstanding and will call me to re enoll. Those I would love to be able to just take care of online, but Wellcare won't allow that.

You just have to go to the Advantra Freedom website to do it. It has a place for your agent # on it so you get the credit.
