As i know from my experience, to succeed you need to update news at your site some times per week, to write your own articles that are focused on certain keywords with good titles, and of course, make backlinks to your pages.. Actually I don't believe that insurance agent might have any professional SEO skills and know how to do proper SEO. With all that google panda updates the game is changing, so that makes ranking even harder and unstable nowadays. But really nice tips from SAM though.

To think I almost didn't look at the recent posts on this thread.

Are you claiming to be an SEO professional, or just parroting what you hear others say?

From what I've seen, the panda updates were just the most recent edition of changes to the game, not a game ender.

From what I've seen, the insurance agents that have any professional SEO skills and know how to do "proper SEO" are focusing more of their efforts on that than selling insurance. That much is for sure.

I really wish people would stop asking me for seo advice when I'm 80% media buys, social, ppc, and ppv (Oh wait, this is where five people who couldn't sell ice in the summer tell me that none of those work).
