I was just noticing Forethought will grade level if under 60 units of insulin a day. Since not all companies list quantities on their app how do you know who grades on higher or lower amounts? Do you call the underwriters?

Only Forethought and American Continental grade on the amount of units of insulin per day. It's usually not as good that way but works out for some.

Age of first taking insulin is better. Some companies allow pref if no insulin prior to age 50. Monumental standard if no insulin prior to age 18. Those companies are more lienent.

If they don't list an amount then any is OK. To include is to exclude. I've never had RNA, Foresters or Monumental ask how many units.

As for calling underwriters in advance, I try to not to do that.
