Setting Appointments Over the Phone

Heck, I'd go a step further and quote a 2K policy as a starting price if I had to just to get in the door.

I actually go several steps further, I sell my FE via tele-sales about 95% of the time. Occasionally I'll train a new agent to do face 2 face.

Days? Weeks? Try setting the appointment for the NEXT DAY and try to never set it more than 2 days out.

Hey pcbinsurance, I was just checking out your website and was wondering where did you get your "quote form" from? Did you have someone design it or is it a wordpress plugin?
 
I think with direct mail cards that are filled out and signed, door knocking works the best. If I have a tele market lead I call. One reason is I have no lead to show them at the door and 2nd, they responded to the tele market call so they are usually not the ones that will just blow you off or hang up in your face when you call them. The people that usually do that don't respond to even be turned into a lead.
 
I don't have a "quote form". I have a contact form. I had someone build the site. Is there a problem there I should know about?

That has been my experience as well. For years I ONLY made phone calls to set appts off of direct mail cards. I only recently started using the door knocking approach and have loved the results. Maybe my charm? :goofy:

what works for some does not work for others. In this business its all about making enough presentations. if someone is making the amount of sales they need, don't change a thing. If your not making the amount of sales you need its either
1. Work ethic
2. Approach (phone or knocking) needs work
3. Not enough leads

No, I've actually been looking for a similar quote form (as opposed to the standard ones that you see on most lead gen sites) for a site that I want to build.
