That is old school... and for the ones that do not run leads, I would say it is still true. In fact, it is sort of true when running leads for most people. It seems most close around 25% of their total leads received ( I realize you and some others do much better ), therefore for every lead they close, they need three or four more leads in the pipeline.

I have no idea what you just said. On the video the guy said you must get 3 referrals from every home or you will never make it in this business.

That is either incredibly dishonest or incredibly stupid. I don't know which.

Don't they read this Forum at Settlers? If so, I'm surprised he keeps making them. I'm glad he is, because they are entertaining. :laugh:

That dude thinks he can sell FE. And he thinks the training is good training.

I think he should take a 3 month leave of absence from the job and get out in the field and sell FE.

Still wouldn't be the same as his living depending on the selling of the product but I bet he would change his tune.
 
These are like a Saturday Night live skit. The "elevator talk" got me. "Providing financial solutions and end of life assistance before, during, and after death?".:D I'd probably get smacked saying that to FE types here in Philly.:goofy:

Just that you have to have people to see.. The guys that run leads need to have more leads in hand once they sell the one they are talking to. Otherwise they are out of business. The ones that do it without leads have to have some other way to fill the prospect funnel.. Some cold call but most use referrals. The three referrals from every sale idea was being taught when I started in 1971 when almost no one did direct mail so it has been around for a long time.

My bet is he worked a market other than FE when he was an "agent and agency owner".
