Silver script $63 a month in 2024 with $525 deductible. Best silver script $116 a month

One could argue that Original Medicare is under more Government control then a private insurance company taking care of a clients insurance. I hate politics and do not talk about them with anyone, all a bunch of crooks so what’s the difference.
Disagree on the OM part but agree on the politics.

As for the Midwest, anywhere near St. Louis? I'm a die hard Cardinals fan.

If you come back with KC or Chicago, we're going to have to fight.

Those of us not yet on Medicare already have the sort of plan that has PA, copays, deductible, networks, etc. and it doesn’t bother us a bit. How it should be to keep costs down. Insurance was never meant to cover 100% of all bills, it’s to help with major, catastrophic claims. I’m out 7000.00 before I get a Dr. visit covered. Doesn’t bother me a bit so you can see why MAPD makes sense for so many people currently reaching Medicare age.

I don’t need to google new content daily to try to dispute MA plans are good for a lot of people. They speak for themselves.
And the majority of you are not saddled with a (multiple) chronic illness. I have been hodpitalized 9 times in the last two years and havecbeen reciving various home health care visits (at times 5 visits in a week but ususally 2) for the past 14 months) My premium is less than an MA oop would be and I have not had to deal with preauthorizations, neteorks, ect. Which would have been a nightmare. I am searching for an ENT specialist that might be willing to rebuilt my epiglotis . I have visited one in Nashville and am now looking to Atlanta. When i find one zi simply call and make the appointment. If the Dr. thinks it will work, we will schedule the surgery. The insurance will not say no and any Dr. I find will take my insurance.

Hope it all goes well for you and you get better.

The problem is there is a difference in understanding how health care really works among agents who are neophytes vs those who have been in the business for a long while.

With years of experience comes wisdom.

Access to health care is beyond the grasp of the many of the younger agents

I hope the best for you.

Since the thread has shifted to bashing OM + Medigap, some folks will never understand the desire to have unfettered access to care, no insurance carrier telling the provider what they can and cannot do, and an easy to understand health insurance plan. SMH

So you're saying the government does healthcare better than private industry? hmmm

Not disagreeing btw..
